Very Cool 1:6 Action Figure Ancient Japanese Heroine Series Nohime

Nohime, the daughter of Saito Dao, the first warring state’s ambitious warlord, the legal wife of Oda Nobunaga, the first warring state man, and one of the three warring states’ wives. She is charming and beautiful in appearance, intelligent, known as the first beauty.
The Box:
Now this is about the best set up I have seen for a box. If I had not already started the usage of my clear plastic cases I would keep this one as it is perfect for storing her. The only issue would be if the black foam would stain her but that would just mean I would line the cavity with some white cloth. Now I will admit that I totally missed the second layer (so thin you might miss it if you did not know it was there. The extra hands, the little belt and darts plus a standard black plastic and wire stand in there.
The Figure:
Fully dressed and even has her head on. Not only is she pretty but as a TBLeague Phicen body has all the movement, grace and stability that they are known for. She stands with minimal effort, as you would expect. There are 3 things I want from my figures, and it is not always possible with most, is that they can sit properly on a horse, stand without support and can kneel. She of course does it all and then some.
Parts:
The swords are metal. I am not a big fan of little metal swords. I prefer plastic as they weigh much less providing more flexibility in posing. Since I goofed up and missed the extra hands (almost threw them away) I did not pose her with the blades drawn. The single piece of armor is a simple tie on affair and there is a red rope in the bottom that also simple ties around her waist.
Conclusion:
This is a set for everyone from the beginner to the expert or in my case an old man with bad hands. I rate this a full 10 out of 10! Hopefully this is just the first of many collaberation sets between Very Cool and TBLeague! Just for fun I provide a perspective of her with a few of the other Samurai girls.
