This past month we had our first doll meet of the year, with more planned this year. It's a Local event hosted by doll owners at their respective homes, and where we get to show off and enjoy each others company.
Each of the attendees brought a doll or two to show and we all eagerly photographed and examined them. It's really nice to see similarities and judge the offerings each manufacturer brings to the table. Some dolls had advanved ball jointed skeletons, others had finger bones like Gynoid dolls.
This is a great place to really see the doll in person - when you want to purchase at some point and make a better educated decision.
We also focus on doing photography - sometimes seriously and othertimes we joke around and do fun stuff - which sometimes results in great photos. Members bring their own cameras, and even have their own strobe lights, and pro gear on hand.
In the pictures below you can see several of the dolls that were present, and these range from 100cm to rather tall 170cm dolls, some over 110lb's. These pictures were taken by me, and are just a sample of the amount of pictures taken.
There was also an IG livestream hosted, which we found was very popular and we plan more of these in the future. These videos give you an idea of what's it's like to be there!
Perhaps someday we will do a 360-video!
