This month I am featuring Lily, a Jiusheng Doll 150cm that was featured last month on Coverdoll, except this time with the Lily Head. Lily has natural pink skin tone and multi toned implnated hair that is actually quite good quality.
Her makeup is all factory as I have observed it to be very well done.
In this set I used my regular flash strobe set to 64X and manual camera settings of 1/80 sec and F5.6. This results in a high amount of exposure that when shot in RAW format, can easily be adjusted up or down as needed.
For the background, I used a gaussian blurred background over the normal background which was masked in PS. It's easy to mask contrasting colors by hand, and the reason I do not use blue/green colored screens is because it's usually used for video and when used in stills - results in serious obvious color spill which is hard to remove. I therefore use white as that works best for me and that was used for many of my promo shots, and the cover of Coverdoll last month.
