A day with Lily in the bedroom studio
Recently I had the opportunity to photo the lovely Lily, who is a Jiusheng Doll 150cm with Face #6 . I really enjoy getting photos of her since she is well painted to a high realism standard and has exceptional posing ability. Since I am still making photos for the company I think these were quite nice among the set I made. These were shot in a well lit upstairs bedroom, which has great sunlight and the bedroom is actually designed with cottage themes - since I really like the decor. As is typical, a Godox style fast strobe was used to bring out highlights and reduce shadows where possible. On a typicial day, a 32X power is used, and full manual settings on camera - including pictures captured in raw format are used. In a typcial day, I would obtain close to 100 pictures per hour, and film for 3 hours or as needed. It does take a long time to pose and reset camera gear, but one has to get as many poses as possible to creat a good set. Typically, 6 poses and 3-4 pictures per pose will work. A few of the pics I am showing had a smile added post.
