Masai’s blog: May 2022 – EDCs & Accessories
Recently, Lorrie suggested to me that I need to upgrade my Accessories & Every Day Carries and I actually appreciated the heads up. I usually keep the EDCs on a table in my bedroom so I can grab and go and I know where every thing is. I thought I had all the basics in place but my briefcase and sunglasses program needed some work. Immediately I put Lorrie to work doing some research and price comparisons so I could make an intelligent well informed purchase. You go girl!!
Well, the next thing I knew, she had a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses/$250.00 and a Cenzo Italian leather briefcase all picked out that retailed for $400.00. I’m like are you out of your mind, I’m not paying that much money for this stuff, you’re crazy. Well after a few smiles and batting those gorgeous eyes at me I gave in plus she whispered sweet somethings in my ear. “Okay, okay you’ve convinced me, I’ll buy them”... and I’m glad I did. The favorite color for my wallet, phone case and briefcase is burgundy and Lorrie found me a nice one that I actually like for all the aesthetics and functionality reasons. Unfortunately it came in late after I did this original photo set but I managed to slip in one picture of it, #15. I also switched up and went with the brand Time Resistance.
What she reminded me of is that if I spend the money on quality it will last a lifetime and maybe even something I can pass on. The Accessory & EDC items I believe every gentleman should own are:
* A nice leather wallet
* Quality Sunglasses
* A couple nice I-Phone covers
* At least 3 quality timepieces: Dressy, Sporty and Everyday
* Signet Ring: Symbols or Precious Jewels – Birth Stone maybe
* A couple nice pendants and maybe a nice silver or gold bracelet
* A small flashlight
* A couple of books for your briefcase, maybe self improvement
* A couple of knives: small pocket Swiss Army knife and maybe a utility knife.
* A couple nice ink pens of your favorite brands
* A quality sturdy leather briefcase
* Some expensive cologne
* A couple of quality masks and hand sanitizers
I am always looking to self improve or upgrade my wardrobe so I can be the best version of myself each and everyday. I enjoy looking good and smelling good for my Boo Thang, Ms Lorrie Luster. I hope you enjoyed the research she did to assist me with this blog.

I've had this photo of this woman for a long time because I think she is one of the most beautiful females I have ever seen. I don't know her name so I call her my "Unkown Model" and for the month of May she is the fashion inspiration for Lorrie.
