Seth is a God who is no Ass!!

Body:

Back Ground

Seth, also known as Set and Suetekh, was the Egyptian god of war, chaos and storms, brother of Osiris, Isis, and Horus the Elder, uncle to Horus the Younger, and brother-husband to Nephthys.

Seth was represented as a composite figure, with a canine body, slanting eyes, square-tipped ears, tufted (in later representations, forked) tail, and a long, curved, pointed snout; various animals (including aardvark, antelope, ass, camel, fennec, greyhound, jackal, jerboa, long-snouted mouse, okapi, oryx, and pig) have been suggested as the basis for his form. Because even the ancient Egyptians rendered his figure inconsistently, it is probably a mythical composite.

For the purpose of this set they used a donkey's head.

The Set:

Just like all of their Egyptian Gods, Males, the feet do not 'lock' into place, so it is hard to stand without a stand. I take the grieves and push down on the foot as tight as you can, it works for a while but don't leave it for long.

As you can see the body comes covered in a powder like stuff and looks terrible. I take a nice liberal painting with baby oil. Does wonders and is good for the figure. Sucks in and leaves it a nice glistening muscles, woo, lala.

I missed the battle axe which was hidden in a 3rd layer of thin foam. There is a cape also but not taking that head and helmet off. Speaking of which that whole helmet and piece of cloth head wrap was a trip. Getting it all on required you have to stretch the mask almost to a breaking point. Then with itty bitty needle nose plyers work through the ear holes and pull that cloth head dress into place.

Everything else was easy and some nice weapons.

Seth is a God with a Donkey's head but he is no Ass. He knows you can't fight with 2 handed weapons and carry a shield. What better than a extra pair of hands, attached to body that makes hooman men think twice before attacking. Our sheild maiden is a HS from a BJD set Goddess of Fantasy - Tifa on a S22A.

Conclusion:

I give it an 8, feet and quirky helmet. Not one to buy unless you are into the Egyptian Gods Collection!
