The Sets:
You never know for sure what you will have to deal with when you start on one of these Phicen sets. Will I have belts, buckles, threads to deal with. I have given the plenty of feed back on how the molded plastic and nicely painted was the best way to go. Well, this is that set, a few glitches, but still super easy to assemble set.
Since both sets are identical in accessories and appearance it comes down to which you prefer. The Golden set's figure is suntan and the silver one is pale. Other than that, the same package deal. I do recommend these sets for the beginner as they are that easy to work with.
The figures stand nicely with nice tight ankles and the basic moves all Phicens have. I did not use the cloth wraps under the wrist and leg armor as it is a real pain and adds no real value to the appearance. The cape, well I don't like capes with all that armor, gets hung up and throws the figure of balance. My last complaint is the skull heads. To small for the bodies used for these figures (even their normal heads could be a tiny bit larger). Still, I love these figures, so I give them a solid 9!
Since I just happen to have the new tall anime bodies, just for the fun of it, I put them on those bodies. Lucky, I had 1 of each, pale and suntan to, cough, match the skin tone.
