Cruella de Vil:  I must admit I had my daughter dress this one for me. She said it was not that hard (easy for her to say) and it was a quality outfit with easy clasps. I will say though the head was a trip, the plug was in so shallow that there was a 1/2-inch gap between the heck and head. I trimmed a slice of twice, and the steel ball was showing through, but it fit correctly. This is actually a very nice set and just the HS is worth the price, very pretty and looks like the actress. 

Witch Bayonetta: So, I took her out of the box and was so thrilled that she was already dressed. Then I picked her up and turned her around. All those chains were rolled into a knot the size of thumb nail. It took a good hour with a needle, a pair of 500 power hobby glasses and an enormous amount of patience. Once I untangled that mess, and looked at the insane way you used them, well this is what I call a shelf set. As in it can sit on the shelf and look pretty. I also think the head does not sit perfectly on the neck and the sculpted hair will not hide it. Not for the faint hearted!

Boy do I love this new tall and sexy anime body from Phicen. It comes in 2 forms. with or without solid feet and of course pale or suntan. Unfortunetly this time there is not a set that includes a head sculpt. I suspect that all of the previous phicen sets with smaller figures heads will fit but then they are hard to find as a head only sale. I searched every site I could looking for a possible fit and discovered the lovely iminitoys M014 a,b,c &D. It was infact the perfect size and color but the head plug was to loose and to tall. What to do. Well there is that shrink wrap process I used on my new Elves. So my lovely new assistaint, Jasmine, presents the LoneRanger's Craftsman Shrink Wrap process!

So I got the new YM Elf heads and started putting them on full size Phicens and, well they looked stoopid, to small, never mind YM's love of not really getting pale tone right. So what to do, why the S24A is the perfect size but the skull cap is way to loose and looks weird. So here is my trick for the head stem shrink wrap process for the S24/S25 series. Turns a head plug to big into a perfect size. Tools are as shown. If you don't have a pair of medical clamps, the needle nose will also work. The hose is fish airline, so it is nontoxic. It is soft and pliable. Cut off a piece a bit longer than the stem. Put it on the pliers as far as it will go. Take the body, needle nose with the piece on it and the superglue to the kitchen. Nuke a cup of water, insert the piece into the cup for 30 seconds. Pull it as far as you can onto the needle nose to stretch it, then take it off. Immediately work it onto the ball. Once you get as far as the ball, drop a drop of superglue down the tube. Now it will slide easy to meet the flesh. Let it set for a little while then trim the extra tube from the top. Perfect fit!!
