This month was a pretty busy one for me as I spend the last 6 weeks travelling the US by car. I brought my new IronTech 165 silicone doll - with the Suki and Miya soft heads.
For this blog feature I am showing Suki and Miya when I visited the Leathermans for just under a week at their house. We spent a long time doing photoshoots, hanging out, visiting various places, and in this set, we filmed the girls poolside.
Because the lighting can be harsh, I used a strobe flash set to ch1, so both I and the Leatheman's could share the strobe. That worked really well. It's reach is suprising good, and can illuminate 30 feet across the pool.
I interchanged the heads for the IT165 for this photo set, and both heads are very stunning. I did replace their eyes so that they would have a more custom look. The wig for Suki came from the factory, and is really nice and suits her well.
For Miya, I used a blonde wig that I think compliments her well. Both of us use Sony mirroless cameras, so we could share the lights between us. The lenses I used were 85/135/35 and 55mm fullframe versions. Typically f1.4 apertures.
As usual I shoot manual, custom settings, but the apertures were kept around f2.8 for better focus and sharpness. All p[ictures were downsampled in Adobe software and processed via ai resampling for more sharpness and detail.
