In the rain

So this Sunday afternoon I had promised Lina to do a photoshoot with her. There were some dark clouds in the sky, but she insisted on an outside shoot in our garden. I told her better to have an umbrella at hand

At first she thought that she needed the umbrella against the bright light of the sun, still shining. She installed the umbrella like it was a parasol, just keeping her head out of the direct sunlight. A first few photos were taken when raindrops started to fall. I told her that I would go in, I don’t like the rain. But she stayed outside, keeping her pose

Standing in the door opening, all I could do was to take a few more photos of Lina in the rain. The umbrella kept her head dry. Her top, her skirt, her legs all in the rain, all wet. Showers for about 20 minutes.

Then I handed her a towel, and left her sitting in the sun to get dry
