Last month we had a look at 'What Women Want', so it only seems fair this month to explore the flip-side. Leaving aside variations of sexual orientation, fetishes and the like and the obvious 'rock hard cock in a beautiful doll (you can interpret that word any which way you want) as often as possible', there are five things a Man wants ..

1. It's important to have a woman, who helps at home, who cooks from time to time, cleans up and has a job.

2. It's important to have a woman, who can make you laugh.

3. It's important to have a woman, who you can trust and who doesn't lie to you.

4. It's important to have a woman, who is good in bed and who likes to be with you. And

5. It's very, very important that these four women do not know each other.

On a more serious note though there is general consensus, amid the myriad of magazine articles and studies, that what men want is:  

Back in the 60's, as a late teenager with raging hormones, getting into girlfriends pants was an all consuming pastime. Despite the so called sexual revolution of those days, more often than not they resisted and, after a night out, a kiss was just about as good as it got.

When you read the article below, written by a Woman, to Men, trying to help them understand sex from a woman’s perspective and what she’s looking for, one realises how much damn willpower they had in those days. But then of course, condoms were embarrassing to buy, the pill had yet to be widely available, families out of wedlock were very much frowned upon and women's financial independence had not yet been established.  I might also add that the principle she expresses is contrary to everything I and many other 'British middle classers'  were taught as young boys and ideas, as we all know, once taught are not easily untaught. Ignorance is not necessarily bliss.

 ...  How times have changed.

Look, I know you men have it difficult. Women are just about impossible to understand, much less please.

It may sound Corny, Stupid even. It It is probably contrary to ones polite and respectful upbringing and it might make one feel self conscious. But don't let that stop you. The only thing worse than Dirty Talk & Noisy sex is silent sex. Contrary to the prim & proper world of the post WWII era and the political correctness of the current era, Bawdy is the way to go. Men like it and, more importantly, Women want it.

We've all done it haven't we! Telling lies in bed or, to put it another way, 'Lying about sex'.

"Yes, OMG, yes, yes, yes ohhh, yes" - God I wish he'd hurry up and finish so I can get some sleep (about 70% of women fake orgasm with penile intercourse alone).

"Of course I Love you" -  I've got my dick inside you haven't I. (A very common response from men to ensure a fuck or reassure a partner during a fuck).

"Yes it was fantastic for me too" - no, it was pretty darn average actually, but I don't want to hurt your feelings, maybe next time ... if there is a next time.

Sex should be a time when one can shed barriers, both physically and emotionally, and just be totally open - ideally - but in reality our inhibitions, the imbalance of the sexes or a certain element of fear (insecurity) get the better of us and we lie about sex .....
