April has brought rains and seeing spring flowers sounds like something I can only see from my window. We are doing our part to stay indoors and work from home. Yet it's still possible to do photography any time.

This month, I am featuring my oldest doll from 2017, who I call Daisy, and she is a WM161 G cup. She has weathered the storm of time quite well, and needed cosmetic repairs on her armpits, which I performed several months ago. I think she's a best case scenario because she is a display model at our home, and stands in certain seasonal clothing during the year. Sometimes, she spends months outside in the shade and accompanies me when I do a BBQ or host events. Company like her makes me quite happy.

This month I am am featuring an older doll from 2016 and a new head that is light tan, while the doll is pure white. So this creates a problem obviously as the colors are mismatched in certain lighting situations. My workflow in these cases is to adjust the photo with a camera white balance that is more red (opposite to cyan) since tan has a lot of cyan. This yields a warmer color which often neutralizes the tan. I also vary the magenta/green channels - depending if filming outdoors.

It's January 2020, and a new start to the year. I wonder what new stuff Santa brought me!
