This month, I am writing about the studio I finished for taking better doll pics, and this is a project I have been thinking and working on for a few months.

This month, I am going over the importance of setting white balance.

White balance is used in photography to adjust color of the picture/camera settings to ambient light. The aim of color balance is to get lighting to look more natural, but is also used to create artistic effects to simulate mood.

This month I am focusing on gearing up for another gig for a large manufacturer as an exclusive photographer, and had to re-arrange a lot of the studio to acommodate the space. I'll go into this in a future blog and the details. I'm still doing work for Doll4Ever, and plan to release more sets for them in time.

Today I am showing some pics from a recent photo set that are based on low lighting and more low light ambient and wam lighting effects

In one bedroom in the house, the lighting is diffuse and warm when using incandescent lights, so I decided to get some pics of a new doll I was sent for some pics.
