Hi Folks, thanks for enjoying Heather on CoverDoll last month. She was fun to photo, as that was the first time I used a larger doll which weighed over 80lb. Yeah, moving her was a challenge as she cannot stand, but I managed anyway with her swivel chair.

Well, I got the last month's camera comparison completed, and now I am using both the Samsung S8 and Nikon D750 to compliment this awesome photo shoot.

This month I am going to take you behind the scenes and give you an idea of some backdrops and lighting props used in the Coverdoll photo shoot.

So last month, I spent the better part of the month comparing my newest S8 Galaxy cell phone camera, and discovered that it does so much more - like work like a little computer. It's really cool, because these little computers are just the shizzle nowdays, and everyone has them. Heck I bought a MS Surface pro tablet PC and it just overnight replaced my laptop like that. Just goes to show you, that given enough time, these little devices will rewrite the rules on how we go about our lives.. but I digress..

This month I am comparing two cameras that I use. One is my Nikon D750 full frame with a nice portrait 75mm lens and my newest Samsung galaxy S8, which I will compare against the more expensive camera

So first up is the Nikon, which is a rather expensive but very good camera that works very well for these photo shoots. I also use a very good tripod setup, which helps for getting great focus - and it works very well.
